Grandmaster Flash (born Joseph Saddler on 1958-01-01 in Bridgetown, Barbados) is a hip hop musician and DJ; one of the pioneers of hip-hop DJing, cutting, and mixing. He worked on the technique of cutting, which letter evolved into part of what is now called scratching.
