The Pioneer PRO DVJ-1000 is the future of CD players, and the method by which the innovative art of visual mixing is being introduced to the mainstream audience.
Not only does it have the same functions as the already widely praised CDJ-1000 MkIII, namely its ability to manipulate CDs, and those discs / memory cards containing downloaded music files, the DVJ-1000 is additionally capable of utilising DVDs and any visual files contained therein.
With the additional use of a visual mixer(notably the Pioneer SVM-1000), files from these DVDs are read from the CD deck, allowing a VJ / DJ to mix in visuals in addition to the track they are playing at the exact beat of the overlaying track.
